Love you,

Hi everyone,

Today I'm sharing a card that I created for the Wednesday challenge at Simon Says Stamp here for their 'Have a Heart' theme.

I used an Edgeabilities die from Spellbinders and embossed the bottom portion of the panel. I then took a piece of patterned vellum and die cut the large heart. Used the small heart die for the gold and red hearts cut from glossy and metallic cardstock.
Added some red splatters to the background and then assembled the hearts in place.
Gold embossed the sentiment and there you have it!

Thanks for stopping by today,

Judy

Fun flowers

Hi there,

Today I am sharing a card that I created for the One Year Anniversary at http://thecardconcept.blogspot.ca/2015/01/card-concept-100-happy-one-year.html
This is their photo source:

Here is what I came up with.
I decided to go with the Clean and Simple look for my card:

I stamped and masked each of the flowers and embossed them in white and them I coloured the flowers using Inktense Pencils as they are nice and vibrant.
When I was finished with the colouring I fussy cut the flowers and adhered to the card base with foam squares. Added the sentiment and some sequins.

Thanks for stopping by,

Judy

Happy New Year

Happy New Year everyone,

Well we're onto another year of crafting fun. I just love this hobby!
I want to wish everyone a Happy and Healthy new year filled with lots of wonderful things.
I am entering this card in the "Anything Goes" challenge at http://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/wednesdaychallenge/simon-says-anything-goes-11/

The background was created using 4 different ink colours which were blended together then the panel was cut using a large rectangle stitched die.
After that was done I added some white and watermark ink circles. Kind of reminds me of
champagne bubbles but without the headache lol!

Added the Happy die (which was cut 3 times) to which I added little dots of Stickles for a little glitter effect.
Stamped the sentiment and added a little cupped sequin.

Well that's it for today.

Off to re-organizing my craft room and trying to purge some stuff. Seems this is something I always like to do at the start of a new year. You know what they say - out with the 'old' and in with the 'new' and my local craft store is having a big sale tomorrow. Yeah!!!

Hugs,

Judy
