Sending love & hugs,

Hi everyone,

It's a beautiful sunny day here with blue sky but cold.
This is perfect weather to wear my nice fur hat that I bought in Iceland in August.
Maybe I'll post a pic. Lol!

Well I do have a lovely Valentine's Day card to share that I am also entering in the SSS Anything Goes' challenge here

First I ran a piece of white cardstock through my die cutting machine using a stitched rectangle die.
I cut the panel in 3 pieces using another stitched die.
From there I applied several strips of washi tape to the middle piece and ran that through again with a different stitched cutting die.
I die cut the large heart from a piece of washi covered card and then die cut a small heart from red felt for the centre.
I then added the sentiment to the piece and layered the 3 pieces onto a pink background piece, added
the layered hearts and that's it for this card.

You're so sweet!

Hi everyone,

Hope everyone is having a great weekend so far!

Well it seems that I'm still in the romance mode for Valentine's Day so I have a card today to share using some fun Lawn Fawn products.

I started with a large background stamp and some red ink to create the card base. I then used a couple of stitched rectangle dies to emboss the background. I then used the same 2 dies to create the background to my gumball machine with some patterned paper. I stamped the gumball image with black ink, die cut that and started to add some colours to the gumballs using Copics.
I added a little metallic look to the machine using some metallic watercolour paint. Added the sentiment and then mounted the piece with foam tape and added some glossy accents to the red sections of the machine.
And that's my card.

Baby, it's cold outside!

Hi everyone,

Hope you are enjoying your weekend!

Today's card is a fun one that I made and am entering in the Simon Says Stamps Wednesday challenge here using Lawn Fawn products.

I started by using a stitched rectangle die to cut out the patterned panel background. I then used 2 different border dies to cut out my hills.
I moved onto stamping my Alpacas. One was stamped the usual way and the other was stamped using a mirror image stamp which I have from Rubber Stampede (247F). The stamp is basically a blank piece of rubber to which you stamp your image onto and then stamp onto your cardstock. This creates a mirror image of your originally stamped image. Neat!

Die cut them both out and then coloured them using Copics. I stamped the sentiment, added some sequins and that's it for this card.

Hugs

Hi everyone,

Just sharing another Valentine's Day card.

I used an embossing folder to create the background of my card. Die cut the heart once with patterned paper and a second time using vellum. The sentiment was die cut using red felt. I applied patterned paper to the card base, added the embossed background to the base and layered the hearts and sentiment to the front of the card.
Finished it up with some sequins and twine and that's it.

Love you now and forever

Hi everyone,

Well it's the end of another weekend. Hope you enjoyed it!
I have another Valentine's Day card to share with you.

I used a piece of watercolour cardstock and some Distress ink to create the background and stamped the sentiment with black ink and added some clear embossing powder. I then die cut the panel using a scalloped die, added the frame directly to the card base and popped up the panel with foam tape.
Used some crystal drops to make the accent embellishments.
That's it!

Thanks for stopping by,

Welcome 2017

HI everyone,

I know I'm a few days late but I want to wish everyone a Happy and Healthy 2017 filled with lots love and kindness. Be good to yourself!

The last few months of 2016 were not the best for me but my back is getting back into shape but could take a few more months to fully heal. I still have trouble sitting for long periods of time and as a result have not spent as much time in my craft room as I would like but that's o.k. as I know everything is still waiting for me to create.

That is exactly what I have done here with this card. With the holiday season behind us it is time to work on Valentine's Day.

Here's one of many I hope:

I embossed the edges of the card using a die and then used some white embossing paste which I coloured pink and applied over a heart stencil. Die cut the word love from some patterned paper and stamped the sentiment on black cardstock and applied white embossing powder.
Mounted the whole panel onto a piece of red cs and added to my base.

Well that's it for this one.
