Congratulations

Hi everyone,

Today's card was created using a SSS stencil for the background and 2 different Altenew stamp and die sets.

I started by creating my background using the Diagonal stripe stencil from Simon Says Stamp and 2 different distress inks.
I taped the stencil to my work surface and applied one colour first then turned the stencil once and created the other colour of stripes going in the opposite direction. Die cut the whole panel with a wonky rectangle die.

Stamped and die cut the leafs with different green inks. Stamped and die cut the flower and coloured with Copics. I then added some little white dots to the flower with a gel pen.

The sentiment was stamped and die cut. Added some green accents with Nuvo crystal drops to my card and Wink of Stella to the flower.

Well that's it for today.

Thanks for stopping by,

Birthday wishes

Hi everyone,

Today I have a card for the current SSS challenge to add a Bit of Sparkle here.

I used a Tim Holtz stencil and blended the background using 2 distress inks overlapping the colours and then die cut the panel using a stitched rectangle die. For my sentiment I used some double sided tape and added some copper glitter to that and rubbed it in with my fingers. I used a SSS die to cut out the sentiment and added it to my card. Added some Nuvo crystal drops and popped up the whole panel with some foam tape and added that to an orange piece of cardstock.

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by,

Supplies:

Tim Holtz Flourish stencil
SSS Stitched Rectangle die
SSS Birthday Wishes Frame die
Distress inks - Worn Lipstick and Squeezed Lemonade
Glitter Ritz copper glitter
Nuvo Crystal drops

Floral thanks

Hi everyone,

I've been a little absent from my craft room lately as we have been working on our kitchen remodel which has been taking up a considerable amount of our time. I'm probably a little rusty in the card creating world.
And now that the weather is nice it'll be time to get out and get some planting done. Off to buy flowers this afternoon.

I did manage to squeeze in some time last night though to create this card for the current SSSflickrchallenge#71 where the theme is to use a 'Favorite Technique'. I chose ink blending using a stencil.

I used a Simon Says Stamp stencil to create my background using 3 of their ink colours.

Once I was happy with the blending I die cut the panel using a stitched rectangle scallop die. Die cut the flowers in black, the sentiment in both black and white cardstock and the black frame using the same stitched rectangle scallop die.

I then added some Nuvo crystal drops and popped up the whole striped panel using foam tape.
