Hello my friend

Hi everyone,

It's day 24 of Kathy Racoosin's 30daychallenge here.

This is my card.

I used a Crafter's Workshop stencil and some Distress oxide inks to create the background and die cut this out using a large stitched rectangle die.

I then die cut the hello and stamped the other part of the sentiment with Versamark ink and used some white embossing powder.

Popped up the stencilled background with foam tape and mounted onto a piece of black cardstock which was die cut with the same large stitched rectangle die.

Added some sequins with the same colour pallette and that's it for this card.

Thanks for stopping by.

Supplies:

SSS Stitched Rectangle die set
The Crafter's Workshop stencil - Mini Art Deco Leaves
Avery Elle Sentimental stamp and die set
Distress Oxide inks - Candied Apple, Spiced Marmalade, Fossilized Amber

Sorry I was snappy

Hi everyone,

I have a fun card that I created for Day 21 of the Kathy Racoosin's 30 day colouring challenge here using mostly Lawn Fawn products.

I started by creating my background with a stencil and some distress inks.
For the sun I applied some distress ink on to a small piece of cardstock and added some clear embossing powder and then die cut the sun itself using a small circle die from Spellbinders.

The sky was created with a die and some Lawn Fawn watercolour cardstock. I die cut the grass twice with some patterned paper and then coloured the little alligator with 2 different shades of green Copic markers. I used a stitched die to add stitching to the all sides of the card.

Stamped the sentiment and added a little die cut heart.

Well that's it for this card and thanks for stopping by.

Lawn Fawn Wild For You stamp and die set
Lawn Fawn Puffy Cloud Borders die set
Lawn Fawn Grassy Border die
Lawn Fawn Stitched Borders die set

happy for your friendship

Hi everyone,

I have a card to share with you for the current SSSflickrchallenge  here where the theme is "To Emboss Like a Boss" and also for Day 17 of thedailymarker30day here by Kathy Racoosin.

I started by blending some scuba ink to the base of my card. Then I added a stencil and some translucent embossing paste over that to create my background. I then went on to create a watercolour pallette so I could die cut the word happy from it.

I used 2 stitched rectangle dies to emboss the edges of my card and then flicked on some drops of color shine.

Layered the panel with some foam tape onto a decorative card which I believe is from Concord & 9th. Added the die cut word and the sentiment which was stamped on black cardstock and heat embossed with white powder.

Well that's it for this card and thanks for stopping by.

Supplies:

SSS Stitched Rectangle die set
SSS Diagonal Stripe stencil
WPlus9 Happy Trio die set
Hero Arts Everyday Saying stamp set
Dreamweaver Translucent embossing paste
Peerless Watercolors
SSS Scuba ink cube

Give thanks

Hi everyone,

It's a beautiful hot summer's day here with a temperature of 31 Celsius. Love it. Although it still feels like summer I seem to be in the mode for making cards with fall colours.

Here's one for Day 13 of Kathy Racoosin's thedailymarker30day challenge here.

I started by watercolouring some leaves with various colours of Distress inks.
For the background of my card I used an embossing folder aptly called leaves. I die cut that piece with a large stitched rectangle die and the banner piece was also die cut from that same rectangle die.
I then layered that onto my Desert Storm cardstock which I embossed using again the same rectangle die.

I couldn't find the Hero Arts stamp that I was looking for to stamp my sentiment so I used a sticker that I had. I know, I know that sounds a little different but it's hard to tell that it wasn't stamped.

Popped up the leaves and the sentiment piece with foam dots and added some twine and crystal drops for a little accent.

That's it for this card and thanks for stopping by.

Supplies:

Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangle die
Lawn Fawn Small Stitched Leaves
QuicKutz Lifestyle Crafts Leaves embossing folder
Distress Inks
Nuvo Crystal drops - Ripened Pumpkin
Creative Imaginations Give Thanks sticker
Lawn Fawn twine
Neenah Solar White and Desert Storm cardstock

Thanks and distress oxide inks

Hi everyone,

The card below is for Day 5 of Kathy Raccoosin's 30 day colouring challenge here.

I used a SSS stencil with 3 different colours of Distress Oxide inks and some Tim Holtz Distress Grit-Paste to create my pretty background. The paste gives an almost velvety effect to the touch.
Used a stitched rectangle die to edge the piece and then used another stitched edge die to cut out the shape at the bottom.

Layered the coloured/embossed panel onto a piece of black cardstock and die cut the thanks from white cardstock. Adhered that at the bottom and added a few enamel dots.

Well that's it for this card and thanks for stopping by.

sending you Hugs

Hi everyone,

Happy Labour Day if you are lucky enough to be enjoying one.

I have a card for Day 2 of Kathy Racoosin's 30 day colouring challenge here.

I used a Hero Arts large background stamp for the base of my card. First I stamped the background with Versamark and heat embossed with SSS white embossing powder and coloured it in using some different Zig markers. I die cut the whole panel with a large stitched rectangle die and then used another die to cut out a portion of the middle.

I used the large Hug die and cut it out in black and also white cardstock and added some clear Wink of Stella to the black piece for a little sparkle. Glued the two pieces together but slightly offset them.

Layered the panel up with some foam tape and did the same with the large word die cut. Added the whole panel and Hugs die cut to a Neenah desert storm card base and ran a strip of gold glitter tape behind for a little accent.

That's it for my card and thanks for stopping by.

Supplies:

SSS Large Hugs die
SSS Stitched Rectangle die set
Hero Arts Simple Leaf Background
MFT Dienamics Vertical Stitched strips die set
Altenew Halftone Smile stamp set
Zigs
Wink of Stella
Gold glitter tape
Neenah Desert Storm cardstock
