My love of Sunny Studio stamps

Hi everyone,

I have a couple of cards to share that I created using the fun stamps and dies from Sunny Studio Stamps. I just love the realistic effect of these stamps. They all look good enough to eat!

For my first card I used the Sunny Studio Two Scoops stamp and die set.
I stamped the ice cream scoops and cones in 3 different ink colours and gave each of the scoops a bit of Wink of Stella sparkle.
I die cut a frame from some patterened paper and foam mounted the cones to a background of Lawn Fawn paper. Added the sentiment to complete this card.

For my second card I used the Sunny Studio Berry Bliss stamp and die set. I embossed the base of the card with a Cuttlebug embossing folder. I used a MFT Die-namics frame die and some patterned paper to make the frame. Added white squares behind each raspberry and popped them up with some foam tape. Stamped the sentiment and that's it for this card.

Sunshine

Hi everyone,

Today I have a card to share using a stencil and 2 different colours of ink.
I am also entering this in both the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge here and their Flickrchallenge #100. Both have the 'Anything Goes' theme.

I started by placing my stencil and blending the yellow ink. I then rotated the stencil slightly and then applied the orange ink. Before the ink dried I added some clear embossing powder and heat set.

The popsicle was previously made. All I had to do was die cut the sentiment with black cardstock.

I added some detail to the base of the card by running it through my die cut machine with a dotted rectangle die.

I added foam tape to the popsicle and and foam tape to the stenciled background and then added the sentiment.

Well that's it for my card.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Hooray you did it!

Hi everyone,

Well I am back from my wonderful vacation in Newfoundland. Such a incredibly beautiful, extraordinary place.

The card I have for today was actually completed before I left on vacation but I didn't have time to post it. It will fit perfectly into the theme for the current Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge here which is 'Bright and Cheerful'

Here's my card:

I first started by stamping this beautiful image from My Favorite Things and embossing it using white embossing powder. I then went on to colouring each of the sections using different colours of Zigs but not adding any water. It took me a while to colour everything but I was pretty happy with the results. I find the Zig brush pens so vibrant in colour.

I die cut the 'hooray' sentiment first in vellum and then a second time using pink cardstock. The other sentiment from Hero Arts was stamped onto a piece of black cardstock and then embossed with white embossing powder.

Before mounting the panel onto my card base I used a wonky stitched rectangle die to add some interest to the edges.

The background piece and the sentiment were mounted with foam tape and the vellum sentiment was adhered with some glue.

I added some Diamond crystal accents and that finished my card.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Supplies:

MFT Floral Fantasy Background stamp
MFT Wonky Stitched Rectangle die set
Neat and Tangled Hooray dies
Hero Arts Everyday Sayings

You are a wonderful friend

Hi everyone,

For Day 11 of thedailymarker30day challenge @ Kathy Racoosin I have a card that I made using Prismacolor Premier colored pencils. Also including this in the Simon Says Stamp Flickrchallenge99 where the theme is coloring in honor of Kathy's 10th challenge.

I stamped the tiger lily with intense black ink and coloured it using pencils in various colours.

I added a black die cut striped background to the base of my card and adhered the tiger lily with foam tape to which I had added some stickles to the centre of the flower.

Die cut the you word from gold cardstock and stamped the sentiment in between the lines of the frame with black ink.

Added some gold heart accents and that completed my card.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Congrats

Hi everyone,

Today I have a fun shaker card to share that I created using a stencil.

I started by creating the 3 background pieces using a Neat and Tangled stencil and 3 different colours of Distress Inks and then cut the pieces the size that would fit behind each window.

I added a black piece of cardstock to my card base and attached each coloured piece behind each window. I then die cut the frame and added a piece of acetate and foam tape to created my shaker.

Small crystals and sequins were added to the shaker.

I die cut the sentiment using black cardstock and adhered that directly to my window base.

Well that's it for this card and thanks so much for stopping by.

Supplies:

Neat & Tangled Geometric Circles stencil
Mama Elephant Tri Window Cover die
Lawn Fawn Congrats die
Distress Inks - Twisted Citron, Squeezed Lemonade, Tumbled Glass

Friends forever

Hi everyone,

I'm a little behind with thedailymarker30day colouring challenge by Kathy Racoosin but I do have a card to share which I created using Studio Katia products and distress inks for Day 5.

I started by blending my background using Worn Lipstick, Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade and Festive Berries distress inks.

When I was finished the blending I stamped the Best Friends image over the entire panel with Extreme black ink from My Favorite Things. I then ran the panel through my diecutting machine using the Dotted Patterns: Loops die.

I then proceeded to place all the stamped images into the proper places popping some up with foam tape. I stamped the sentiment onto a piece of black cardstock and heat embossed with white embossing powder.

Well that's it for my card and thanks so much for stopping by.

Glitter Weave

Hi everyone,

Today I have a card using Altenew's Weave Builder stencil and some Nuvo glimmer paste for an embossed effect.
Also entering this in the current Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge where the theme is 'Anything Goes' here and also their Flickr challenge of 'Embossing'.

Here's my card:

I first started by applying Fossilized Amber distress oxide ink to the first part of the stencil layering.
I turned the stencil and applied the second layer which was Peacock Feathers distress oxide ink.

When that was complete I laid the stencil back down so that the Peacock Feathers colour was exposed. Then I proceeded to add Nuvo glimmer paste to the stencil. Unfortunately the lovely sparkle doesn't show through in the phote. I set that aside to dry and once dry I ran the panel through my die cut machine using the Simon Says Stamp stitched rectangle die set.

I then moved onto creating the sentiment by diecutting it 3 times in white, turquoise and yellow cardstock and stacked the 3 pieces on top of each other and gluing them in place slightly offset from each other.

I added some sequins and a Nuvo crystal drop over the 'i".

Well that's it for my card and thanks so much for stopping by.
