The hexagon was die cut from Hero Arts set.
I used watercolour paper and some daubers to apply Mowed Lawn, Squeezed Lemon and Peacock Feathers distress inks. Spritzed with Green/Yellow perfect pearls powder to give it some shine. I decided to spritz the whole background also. The leaves were die cut and different shades of green distress inks were applied. The sentiment is from Paper Smooches which I embossed in white.

because it really is very pretty.

Good Monday morning everyone,
Hope you also enjoyed a glorious fun-filled weekend like I did here. Finally.....
I made this card for the All That Glitters challenge at http://ablognamedhero.blogspot.ca/?m=0
I used Memory Box's Chloe stem flower which I die cut 3 times. I tried the copper flower using Scor tape and added copper Glitter Ritz. It was a little bit messy so for the other 2 flowers I decided to die cut them from gold and dark chocolate glitter card stock instead (much easier).
I cut off the stems on each flower and made them into a little wreath shape. I used the Spellbinders Labels 18 die to cut out the centre of the card. Embossed that layer with the Cuttlebug Swiss dots embossing folder. Popped that piece up with foam tape, added the centre piece which was the leftover piece from cutting the frame. Added Antique linen distress ink to the border of the insert.
Sentiment is from Penny Black (3383D).
Added bling to the centre of my wreath arrangement and some sequins to the card for more bling.
Hope the photo does this card justice but it really does pop with glitter.

happy birthday

I used the Hero Arts Looped Flower background stamp which I white embossed.
Added Distress inks on my craft sheet ( Peacock Feathers, Mustard Seed Nd Peeled Paint which I spritzed with water and then dragged my cardstock over the inks until I had the desired effect.
Added the expression from the Paper Smooches Sentiment Sampler set.

Birthday Wishes

I have 12 x12 washi sheets from WeR Memory Keepers that I can cut or die cut into any length, size or shape.

The little birdie is Lawn Fawn from A Birdie Told Me set.

April showers!
For the Spring flowers / April showers challenge at www.simonsaysstampschallenge.blogspot.ca/
Hopefully Spring showers will bring May Flowers. It's been a long winter! Ugh!!!!
I made this card using the April Showers clear stamp set from Penny Black. Stamped the boots with Hero Arts pool ink, then coloured the flowers with a yellow marker and added some yellow Stickles to the centres. The umbrella was embossed in white on flowered card stock (Sunny Side pack from Pebbles) and turquoise Stickles added here. The raindrops were clear embossed and then I added some glossy accents to highlight each drop. Also added glossy accents to the top and souls of each boot. The sentiment is a combination of two sets. Card background papers are from the Echo Park 6x6 pack Sweet Day.

Happy Mother's Day
Made for Jacqueline's Grid tag challenge.
I do use a few of my scraps but also resurrected my Twinkling H20's and some old embossing powder. I used the Silhouette Vines stamp by Hero Arts but stamped on it's side.
Coloured all the flowers with various H2O's and used amethyst embossing powder for the complete background. Added some glossy accents to the 2 butterflies.
Unfortunately the photo doesn't do the card justice as the flower colours really do shimmer.

Happy Spring
For the Tuesday Trigger at http://www.moxiefabworld.com/2013/04/tuesday-trigger-magical-magnolias.html
I used a blossom background paper on which I stamped a floral stamp from The Stamp Barn (CHSH348M) and embossed in white. I added Hero Arts butter bar ink over top. I then stamped the smaller floral stamp (CHSH349E) which was also white embossed. I added shades of pink Blending Blox ink (Marvy). Added some punched leaves and a sentiment from Penny Black's April Showers set.
Blended the edges of the background with some more Butter Bar Ink to soften it a bit.

Happy Birthday
Entered in the April Hero Arts sketch challenge.
The white background is from the ZigZag embossing folder set from Lifestyle Crafts. There are two folders and the one I used here was the tweed design.
The flower (HACG250) was white embossed then coloured using Inktense pencils. I also used this stamp which I clear embossed randomly on the green strip of cs.
Added yellow polka dot washi tape, a bright pink button with some dark brown twine.
The sentiment is from the BoBunny stamp set #10105761.
