I think you’re wonderful

 Hi everyone,

Well Christmas is behind us and we find ourselves back into a 3 week lockdown again with only stores deemed essential to be open. More time for crafting for me not that I spend anytime in stores. All the Christmas gifts were purchased online this year and so are my groceries.

I do have a fun and easy card to share using a Concord & 9th Turnabout stamp set.

I started by stamping the berries using 4 different colours of pink/red Altenew mini ink cubes from lightest ink to the darkest rotating the card at each turn. Then I went on to stamping the holly leaves starting with the lightest green colour first and ending by the darkest green ink last.

When all the stamping was done I stamped the sentiment from the set and stamped in the middle of my card with black ink.

Well that’s it for my card and thanks so much for stopping by 🙏🏻

Supplies:

Retro Christmas ornaments

 Hi everyone,

Although I am not much in the Christmas spirit I do find myself still making Christmas cards. The new Retro Ornament stamp and die set from Sunny Studio Stamps is awesome.

First I started by stamping my background with a bough branch and Distress ink. I went on to stamping the ornaments with gold ink and red ink.

My stamped panel was die cut using a slimline stitched rectangle die. I didn’t want to add a layer of red card stock to the card base so I inked up the edges of the card with the same red ink as the ornaments. I added some Nuvo glitter on top of the ink to add a little sparkle.

I added some gold thread to each of the ornaments and adhered the threads to the back of the panel. I added a little foam square to each ornament and adhered them to my card.

I die cut little red bows from glitter card stock and added one to each ornament.

The sentiment was stamped with black ink ad die cut with a Zig Zag rectangle die.

I inked the edges of the sentiment piece with the same gold ink in the ornaments and added to my card with foam tape.

Well that’s it for my card and thanks so much for stopping by 🙏🏻

Gingerbread & Christmas Houses

 Hi everyone,

I guess it’s been a while since I have posted here but I do have a Gingerbread house and a Christmas house to share with you using some Lawn Fawn products.

I used the new paper collection from Lawn Fawn called Let it Shine for the card bases.
The Christmas house background was embossed with a snowflake embossing folder.
I used glitter card stock for a lot of the house pieces and added some sparkle and glitter wherever I could for some nice accents.

They were a lot of fun to make and seemed to take me a lot of time to assemble.

Anyways that being said I think they turned out very nice. I’m pretty happy with the results.

Well that’s it for these 2 cards and thanks so much for stopping by 🙏🏻

I die cut the large letters 3 times from some white card stock and glued each letter together.
The Christmas sentiment was die cut twice from white card stock and glued together.
The tree border was die cut from some white glittery card stock.
I also die cut 3 different size snowflakes from the white glitter card stock.
The tree border was foam mounted to my card base and all the other elements were added with glue.

Well that’s it for my card with lots of die cutting.

 Hi everyone,

Today I have a card to share using an old Hero Arts wood block Christmas tree stamp that I have.

I started by stamping the image with green ink and heat embossing with clear embossing powder.
I used a stitched rectangle die to cut my panel.

The letters were die cut from some striped paper.

I layered my stamped panel onto a piece of patterned cardstock and foam mounted the letters at the bottom.

I added a little silver star embellishment to the top of the tree and that completes my card.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Let it snow

 Hi everyone,

Although the title to my card is 'Let it Snow' I am not eager at all to have snow. We did have a bunch already but it has melted away. Yeah!!!

My card today was created using a single die set from Hello Bluebird which contains 3 dies and makes for a quick and easy card.

The die cuts 3 different strips so I used white glitter cardstock for the top piece, I embossed the bottom piece with a Sizzix dots embossing folder and the middle piece I blended 2 different colours of Distress inks over it and added some splatters of white paint.

The sentiment was die cut 3 times with white cardstock and glued together. I die cut 2 small snowflakes and adhered them together but offset them a little bit. I adhered all 3 pieces to a white card with some Tombow mono glue.

Well that's it for my card and thanks so much for stopping by. Namaste

Happiest of Birthdays

 Hi everyone,

Today's card was created with a stencil and 2 colours of Distress inks and some ink blending which is probably one of my favourite techniques. The colours are nice and happy which is perfect for this very snowy day!

I die cut a white panel with a stitched rectangle die and placed my stencil over top. I started at the bottom and blended the inks alternating between the 2 colours.

Once I was happy with the blended panel I set that aside and die cut the 'friend' die from some black cardstock. The other sentiment is from Paper Rose which is a package of pre-printed sentiment strips on both black and white cardstock. The package contains so many sentiments for every occasion which is great.

I adhered the panel to my card base and added the sentiment strip with some foam tape and adhered the die cut piece directly to the card.

I added Nuvo crystal drops in 2 colours on all the tiny dots.

Well that's it for my card and thanks so much for stopping by. Namaste!

Supplies:

Paper Rose Leaf Burst stencil
Paper Rose Black & White Sentiment sheets pack
Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangle die set
Simon Says Stamp Friend die
Nuvo Crystal Drops - Red Berry, Dandelion Yellow
Distress Ink - Picked Raspberry, Squeezed Lemonade

Celebrate the season

 Hi everyone,

Today I have a card to share using a couple of stencils and some embossing paste. It was difficult to capture the beautiful sparkle of the paste with the lighting I had on the day I took the photo but it really is quite pretty 🤩

I started with the tree stencil first and applied some Gina K glitter gel on to a piece of wood grain card stock. I set that aside to dry and went on to die cutting 3 tiny birds from some red card stock.

Once the first stencil piece was dry I carefully added a snow stencil to my piece and added some distress paste.

I mounted the panel with foam tape on to a piece of black card stock and then added that to my card.

The sentiment was heat embossed with white embossing powder and added to my card with foam tape.

I popped up the little bird with a small foam dot and that completes my card.

Thanks so much for stopping by 🙏🏻

Joyful wishes

Hi everyone,

With the weather getting colder and some snowflakes spotted here and there I seem to be drawn to creating cards with snowflakes.

I first started by die cutting a white panel using a stitched rectangle die.

I then used the new Lawn Fawn snowflake stencil with some Nuvo glacier paste over the panel.
This paste goes on smoothly and creates a nice shiny finish.

I stamped and die cut the sentiment.

The whole panel was foam mounted to my card base striped panel.

I added some red sequins and this completes my card.

Thanks so much for stopping by 🙏🏻

Christmas ornaments

 Hi everyone,

Today I have a card to share that I created using mostly Sunny Studio Stamps products.

I started by stamping the 3 ornaments in 2 different shades of blue ink from Altenew. I didn’t have the matching die so I had to fussy cut them out.

The branch was stamped and die cut with the matching die. The sentiment was stamped and heat embossed with gold embossing powder. Also I didn’t have the matching die so I fussy cut this too.

I used a large rectangle die to cut a piece of Lawn Fawn patterned paper for my background. The panel was adhered directly to my card with glue. All the other pieces were added with foam tape.

Before I added the ornaments to my card I poked a little hole in the branches and added gold thread to hang them from. I also added some Stickles glitter to the branches.

Well that’s it for this card and thanks so much for stopping by 🙏🏻

Let it snow, snowflakes

 Hi everyone,

Today I have a card to share using some fun Lawn Fawn products.

I started by die cutting a bunch of snowflakes with Neenah solar white card stock using 2 sets of snowflake dies.
I then adhered a piece of patterned card stock directly to my card base and trimmed around the sides to fit the card.

The snowflakes were added with glue and some were popped up with foam tape.

I stamped the sentiment with Simon Says Stamp scuba ink, cut along the top edge and added some chunky glitter.

Before adding the sentiment to my card with foam tape I added a small piice of patterned paper for a little accent.

As the background panel has little gold dots throughout I decided that was enough accent for my card.

Well that’s it for this card and thanks so much for stopping by 🙏🏻

Hello friend

 Hi everyone,

Today I have a card to share using a new to me stencil from Paper Rose which makes for a quick and easy card.

I started by taping my stencil to a piece of Neenah white card stock. I used a Taylored Expressions blending brush to apply Twisted Citron distress ink heavy at the top and then a lighter pressure towards the bottom of my panel.

When I was finished my blending I applied some Gina K white glitz glitter gel to just a little section at the bottom centre of my panel.

I die cut the Simon Says Stamp hello die in both white and black card stock and adhered the two pieces together slight offsetting the black piece at the back to create a bit of a shadow effect.

The other sentiment was stamped with Versamark ink on to a piece of black card stock and embossed with white embossing powder.

I adhered the panel to my card with foam tape and that is it for my card today.

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day 🙏🏻

For my first card I started by creating my background by ink blending a couple of different colours of Distress inks.
When I was finished with my blended background I went on to creating my spooky house using Lawn Fawn products.
I used a Lawn Fawn grassy hillside stencil to add behind the house.

For the card below I started by creating my background with Distress inks in different colours.
When I was finished blending I added some splatters of white, black and gold paint colours.
I ran the panel through my die cut machine to add the wonky border to my panel.
All the images were stamped with black ink and coloured with Copics.
I added the images to my panel with foam tape and adhered the die cut sentiment.

For my 3rd and final card I used the reveal wheel to create a fun interactive card.
I started by blending my background panel with Distress inks. I then went on to die cutting all the pieces I needed to create my Halloween house. I stamped and Copic coloured all the other accents to my card.
The sentiment was stamped onto a piece of black card stock and white heat embossed and foam mounted to the bottom the card

Happy Fall

 Hi everyone,

Well it certainly feels like Fall. I just spent a few hours outside in the cool crisp air preparing the gardens for the winter ahead. I do love this time of year but generally don’t look forward to what is on the other side of Fall.

Anyways my card is perfect for this day and also for a Latte or hot chocolate 😋

I created a bunch of watercoloured leaves and some plain die cut ones from different colours of card stock.

I set those aside and created my mugs. I stamped them with black ink and coloured them with Copics. I didn’t have the matching dies so I had to fussy cut them.

The sentiment was stamped and heat embossed with gold embossing powder. I also added a little of the powder around the edges of the sentiment strip using my Versamark marker and heat set.

I adhered a textured cream coloured piece of card stock to my card base. I added a piece of striped paper along the centre of my card and then added all my leaves . The mugs and sentiment were added to my card  with foam tape.

Well that’s it for my card which I will be entering in Lawn Fawn’s current challenge as below and also SImon Says Stamp current IG challenge.
