Moonlight Magic

Hi everyone,

Who doesn’t love a glow in the dark moon.

I cut an A2 sized piece of watercolour cardstock and used a large circle die, die cut a circle from a piece of masking paper.

Placed the masked circle piece of paper over the cardstock and blended Squeezed Lemonade Distress ink over top of the open circle.

I used the circle that was die cut from the masked paper, placed it over the yellow circle.

I blended the other colours Blueprint Sketch and Hickory Smoke on to the background.

I placed the Stampers Anonymous open moon mask piece (medium size) over the circle and used a pallet knife to spread on the glow paste.

Added some shading in between the paste areas with a Lost Shadow Distress watercolour pencil and a paintbrush.

Stamped the bats with black ink and added corn stalks with Hickory Smoke ink embossed with Pumice Stone embossing glaze.

I die cut the witch and cat from black suede paper and added a tiny bit of glow paste behind the cat’s eyes.

I added splatters of white paint and a bit of Distress spritz spray to the background making sure to mask off the moon first and then blended Black Soot Distress ink around the edges of the panel.

Stamped the sentiments and heat embossed with white powder.

I then assembled all the elements onto the background and adhered to a polka dot panel of Idea-ology paper

Check out the glow in the dark moon.

Well that’s it for my card and thanks so much for stopping by 🙏🏻

Post card Christmas tag

 Hi everyone,

Well I’ve been working on a Christmas tag lately and here it is.

I started by painting a tag with the new Lumberjack Plaid Distress paint. I added a piece of Idea-ology Christmas collage paper over top.

I added a layer of Collage medium over the top of my collage paper and while it was still wet I sprinkled bits of the Idea-ology tinsel over top.

I painted overtop of the berries with the new colour of Distress paint and added little white centres with a white gel pen.

I added a pinecone stencil over top and applied grit paste and some Rock Candy glitter.
The hinge clip was painted with white paint and distressed a bit with Distress crayons.

I used a stencil to create my date using the Lumberjack Plaid ink and added little black dots with a fine tip marker.

I cut up an Idea-ology candy cane into little pieces and added to my Etcetera ledge which I painted
white and added some Mica flakes to it.

The star is an Idea-ology piece from the Christmas Baseboards pack which I painted with Lumberjack Plaid and added crackle paste.

The deer is an Idea-ology piece which I dipped in Rock Candy glitter.

I added Idea-ology design tape to the bottom and top of my tag and also added sentiment pieces here and there.

Merry + Bright

 Hi everyone,

Today I have a Christmas tag to share with you.

I started with a small tag which I added my stencil to and covered it with Distress Snowfall Grit paste. After that was dry I then sprayed it with the new Merrymint Distress Mica spray. I also added a little Distress crayon to each of the snowflakes.

I added that to a larger piece of card stock that I cut slightly larger than my tag. To the edges I added the Snowfall paste to the edges and after dry I sponged Peacock Feathers Distress ink over top.

For the little bits of bead accents I took some mini Prills and added Aqua Alcohol ink to them. Not all of them blended with the ink but that’s ok.

I coloured an Idea-ology mini doll with pencils. The sentiment was layered onto a piece of torn card stock sprayed with Cocktail Party Distress mica spray. I added a tiny clip covered in the Snowfall Grit paste to the sentiment piece.
I also added Cocktail Party crayon to the sentiment.

The embellishment at the bottom right was coloured with the Aqua Alcohol ink too.

I took a piece of ribbon and sprayed it with the new Cocktail Party mica spray and fringed the edges.

Well that’s it for my tag and thanks so much for stopping by 🙏🏻

Feeling wicked

 Hi everyone,

As you can see I am still on the Halloween theme. Just can’t get enough.

I started by creating my background with the Moon mask and Villainous Potion and Black Soot Distress spray stains. The moon middle was inked with Distress ink.

When I was finished the background I added some black stitching around the edges.

The witch was die cut from black foam so I could have some dimension. I die cut the cat from a piece of shrink plastic and added alcohol ink for the colour.

I die cut the sentiment from black card stock and added a piece of white card stock behind which was sprayed with Iron gate Mica spray.stain.

I inked the edges of a white panel with gold metallic rub on and layered that onto a black panel.

Well that completes my card and thanks so much for stopping by 🙏🏻🎃
