Autumn blessings

Hi everyone,

Today I have a card to share that I created using a new die from Hero Arts called Sun Flare.

I started by running the die through my die cutting machine to cut out the white outline.

I then ran the die through my die cutting machine several more times in order to cut out all the different colours of card stock and glitter card stock.

Before I glued the small middle panel to my card base I stamped the sentiment in dark brown ink.

I used a stitched leaves die set to cut out the 2 leaves from shiny card stock and added them to my card with foam tape.

Well that’s it for my quick and colourful card and thanks so much for stopping by 🙏🏻

Mermaid hello

Hi everyone,

Today I have a card to share that I created for the current Lawnfawnatics challenge #108 using their Inspiration photo

Here’s my card.

photo

I created my background using a Ken Oliver’s Color burst powder which I adhered directly to my card base.

I then die cut all my Mermaids and the rock and then coloured them with Copics. All other images were stamped directly using various colours of ink pads.

I assembled my scene adhering some of the images directly to my panel with glue and the others were adhered with foam tape.

Stickles was added to the Mermaids in colours to match their outfit.

Well that’s it for my card and thanks so much for stopping by 🙏🏻

Sparkly thank you card

Hi everyone,

Today I have a card to share using a stencil from Pinkfresh Studio and some ink blending with Distress
Oxides.

I started by securing a slimline stencil to a white panel on my Make Art Stay-tion. As this was a slimline stencil I used a rectangle masking stencil over top so that I could have a nice clean white border around the edges of my panel and then began blending.

When I was finished with the blending I die cut a scalloped frame to go over top. I adhered the panel and my frame to my card base. The sentiment (Perfect Sentiments from Pinkfresh Studio) was stamped with black ink and cut out with the matching die.
The wonderful thing about this stamp and die set is that you can stamp and die cut several different sentiments at once having some left over for other cards.

After the sentiment was adhered with foam tape I added the jewels to my card. Two rows of turquoise and one row of yellow. These beautiful sparkly jewels are also from Pinkfresh Studio.

Well that’s it for my card and thanks so much for stopping by 🙏🏻

Supplies:
Pinkfresh Studio Diamond Motif slimline stencil
Pinkfresh Studio Perfect Sentiments stamp and die
Taylored Expressions Rectangle Masking stencil
MFT Die-namics Stitched Rectangle Scalloped Frame die
Pinkfresh Studio jewel embellishments - Ocean Breeze, Sunshine

Mermaid Lagoon, Blueprint Sketch

Find joy every day

 Hi everyone,

Today I have a card to share for the current Simon Says Stamp Flickr challenge where the theme is Fall.

I used the Floating Leaves stencil from Simon Says Stamp and ink blended 5 different colours of Distress inks on to a white card base.

The sentiment is from Hero Arts and stamped onto white card stock and gold embossed. I fussy cut the stamped sentiment and also a piece of vellum.

I heat embossed the edges of a tan card with gold embossing powder and added my panel to a piece of white card stock and then popped it up with foam tape.

I added a few rhinestones and that completes my card. Thanks so much for stopping by 🙏🏻

Supplies:
Simon Says Stamp Floating Leaves stencil
Hero Arts Find Joy stamp set
Distress inks - Festive Berries, Ripe Persimmon, Mustard Seed, Vintage Photo, Mowed Lawn

Wild birthday

Hi everyone,

Today I have a card to share that I am entering in the Lawn Fawn current Lawnfawnatics challenge #107 where the theme is 3D cards.

Details on their blog here

I started by die cutting the pieces for the box with cream coloured card stock. I then used the tropical leaves stencil set to apply 2 different colours of Distress ink.

I die cut the grassy border with green card stock and die cut and Copic coloured all the other images.

I assembled the box and added the toucans onto strips of acetate so they could move. Once everything was added in place I added glitter glue accents here and there.

It has been a while since I created one of these boxes and forgot just how much fun they are to make and I hope you like it.

Well that’s it for my card/box project and thanks so much for stopping by 🙏🏻
