Thinking of you

Hi everyone,

Today I have a card to share using some Tim Holtz products. I must admit I have purchased quite a lot of his products lately and am fun using them.

I used a stencil with 3 different colours of Distress inks to blend my background.

The butterfly was die cut once from a distress coloured piece and then again with another piece of card stock which was sprayed with Distress ink sprays.

Before adding the panel to my card I distressed the edges. The sentiment was added to a piece of the same card base and foam mounted.

Below is a closeup of the butterfly to which I added gold embossing powder.

Well that’s it for my card and thanks so much for stopping by.

Supplies:
Tim Holtz / Stamper’s Anonymous Flourish stencil
Tim Holtz / Sizzix Detailed Butterflies die set
Tim Holz / Idealogy Sentiments Labe stickers
Distress inks - Squeezed Lemonade, Salvaged Patina, Saltwater Taffy

Butterfly hello

 Hi everyone,

Well Spring is here and so is my card colours. I made this for the current SSSFlickr challenge where the theme is to make a Spring slimline card.

Here’s mine.

I used a Simon Says Stamp stencil to create my background with 2 different colours of  Distress oxide inks.

I used a couple of different slimline dies to cut down my panel.

The butterfly was created with Silver alcohol ink card stock and a green colour of alcohol ink.

I die cut the sentiment twice in silver metallic and black card stock. To finish my card I added some bubble embellishments.

Below is a closeup of the butterfly.

Well that’s it for my card and thanks so much for stopping by 🙏🏻

Create lifetime memories

Hi everyone,

Well it’s been a while since I posted here but I do have a card to share using Distress oxide inks and the awesome Arched Texture Fades embossing folder from Tim Holtz.

I started by blending 3 different colours of oxide inks on my background piece. When I was happy with the blending I ran the piece through my die cutting machine using the embossing folder.

I decided to use my sander to add some highlights to the piece.

The panel was adhered to a card base of dark blue card stock but before that I added a piece of ribbon and a metal heart.

The words are stickers from Tim Holtz which I added to the same colour of card stock as my card base.

Well that’s it for my card and thanks so much for stopping by.

Supplies:
Tim Holtz/Sizzix Arched texture fades embossing folder
Distress Oxide inks - Tumbled Glass, Cracked Pistachio, Lucky Clover

There is beauty in simplicity

 Hi everyone,

Today I have a quick and easy card to share using the Tim Holtz / Stamper’s Anonymous stamp setwhich includes some great sentiments. I just love this large perspective butterfly.

I started by ink blending my background with Distress Oxide inks and then stamped the butterfly with black ink slightly off the card.

I stamped the sentiment with Versamark ink and heat set with gold embossing powder.

I added black flecks of paint and that’s it for my card.

Thanks so much for stopping by🙏🏻
