Butterfly birthday

Hi everyone,

I love the new Rainbow Shattered Glass Deco Foil. It makes for really pretty butterflies. There is an 'Anything Goes' challenge on Simon Says Stamp's Flickr group so I am adding my card.

I used 2 different butterflies from Memory Box to create the butterflies with the Deco Foil. I used a piece of black glitter cardstock to add the outline butterfly on top. The background panel was die cut from a piece of patterned paper using a Stitched border die from Pretty Pink Posh.

I stamped the sentiment and white heat embossed. I added the patterned panel to a piece of black cardstock which was adhered to the card base. The die sentiment was cut 3 times and glued together. The stamped sentiment and the butterflies were added with foam.

That's it for my card and thanks so much for stopping by.

Thanks and appreciation

Hi everyone,

Today I have a card to share using a Tim Holtz stencil and some translucent embossing paste. I am entering this in the current Simon Says Flickr challenge #123 where the theme is to "Do It With Dimension".

I have been busy lately preparing and planting my gardens and doing work outdoors and also organizing my bead collection in hopes to start selling off some of my beads. I must admit I do have a lot. But I will also be keeping a lot so I can start making some bracelets. Maybe I can get my Yoga buddies interested in some.

Anyways I have had some time to create in my craft room. I've recently ordered some new Lawn Fawn products and look forward to playing with some of those. Stay tuned!

I attached my stencil to a die cut piece of cardstock and blended Peacock Feathers distress ink over the whole piece. I then added a layer of Translucent embossing paste over top to create the raised effect of my background.

I set that aside to dry and die cut a background piece for my stencil piece and attached that to my card base.

Once the stenciled piece was dry adhered that to the light turquoise piece with some foam tape.

I die cut the sentiment die 3 times with black cardstock and glued them together.

The stamped sentiment was stamped with versamark ink and then heat embossed with white embossing powder.

I adhered the sentiments and added some Nuvo drops for accents.

Well that's it for my card and thanks so much for stopping by.

Happy Birthday From All of Us

Hi everyone,

I have a card to share today created with Avery Elle's All of Us stamp set which I am entering in the current Wednesday challenge over at Simon Says Stamp where the theme is 'Happy Birthday'. Details on their blog here

I started by die cutting the window frame with a piece of patterned cardstock. I then positioned the frame over a piece of white cardstock cut to the same size as my card base and figured out where to stamp each of the image lines so that they would be lined up in the frame openings.

I coloured each of the sets of images using Copices.

I added the frame over the images using some foam tape.

The sentiments were stamped from the same stamp set and adhered to my panel.

I added some googly eyes to random animals and that completes my card.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Supplies:

Avery Elle All of Us stamp set
Mama Elephant Tri-Window cover die
Lawn Fawn patterened paper
Copics
Googly eyes
