Limited edition framed flowers

 Hi everyone,

On today’s card I decided to use a small Idea-ology Baseboards/Frame from Tim Holtz and distress it with paint and crackle paste. I used the small frame circled in the second photo below.

I painted the frame white and added some crackle paint over top. When dry I scuffed it up a bit with my sander. The nice thing about this paste is it adds such a fine bit of crackle.

I added a stencil to a piece of black card stock and blended Shaded Lilac Distress oxide ink over top.

The background piece behind the flowers was blended with 3 different shades of Distress oxides and black paint splatters were added.

I used the flower die with a piece of black card stock to cut it out. I adhered it behind the frame which was foam mounted to my card.

The sentiment is a chipboard piece which I also distressed with a bit of crackle paste.
The photos below show the detail of the crackle.

Well that’s it for this card and thanks so much for stopping by 🙏🏻

I don’t often make tags but today I have one to share using a bunch of different products.

I started by embossing the tag with a quilted folder and then blended 2 different colours of Distress inks over top. I then applied some Distress resist spray over it. I used Walnut Stain spray to add some splatters.

The bird from the Tim Holtz Halloween Vault series was cut from a piece of Distress ink coloured card
with clear embossing powder over top.

stock and the edges inked.

The lumber pieces were die cut and ink blended. The foliage piece was sprayed with gold Mica spray.

The sentiment is a Chitchat sticker and the No. 251 and nest are Idea-ology.

Lastly I added a brass button at the bottom and a metal leave embellishment at the top.

Easter Bunny box

Hi everyone,

Today I am sharing this little vignette box that I made for Easter.

I used several different Tim Holtz die sets to create my scene.

I started by using a small box to which I added woodgrain embossing folder pieces cut to fit the outside and inside of the box.

The inside back of the box was lined with a piece of card stock that o had stencilled with several Distress inks. I also added a die cut fence piece to the stencilled background.

I die cut 2 bunnies for the front of the box, 2 eggs and several die cut flowers.

I die cut the word Easter from a piece of card stock on which I had blended some Distress inks. I stacked the letters on to 2 layers of thick white card stock.

In order to have the word stand up I glued it to 2 pieces of wood dowels that were coloured with Walnut Stain Distress ink.

I added a distressed banner to the box, some faux grass on the inside along with some Easter eggs I made using foil and Alcohol inks.

To finish off I die cut a large carrot to add to the front and 2 strips of ribbon around the box.

Well that’s it for thisEaster project and I hope you enjoy it.

My little Easter bunny house

 Hi everyone,

Well it’s time to share some Easter projects that I have been working on. Here’s the first one.

I know the bunny probably looks a little too oversized for my house but he has a home there anyways.
I couldn’t resist.

There are a lot of different dies and embossing folders that went into making my little project.

I die cut the house with different colours of card stock and added some shading and speckles here and there.

The windows were done with vellum paper and I added some paste for a little frosted look.

The sentiment was die cut with purple card stock and glued directly to my cobblestone base.
I added some Mica flakes to the base and also attached some little flowers.

Well that’s it for my Easter bunny house. Thanks so much for stopping by 🙏🏻

Miss you

 Hi everyone,

I have a fairly simple card to share today.

I started by creating my card background by spraying it with 3 different colours of Distress spray.

I moved onto die cutting the floral pattern with the Tim Holtz Leafy Twigs twice with 110 lb. white cardstock so it would add a little depth when I glued the 2 pieces together.

The sentiment was stamped with black ink and cut with the matching die.

A very quick card.

Thanks so much for stopping by 🙏🏻

Tim Holtz Leafy Twigs die
Pinkfresh Studio Perfect Sentiments stamp and die
