 Hi everyone,

I made this card keeping in mind the current Lawn Fawn challenge #99 which is to create a scene. Details can be found on Lawn Fawn’s blog here.

When I was satisfied with the colours of card stock that I had chosen for everything I started by die cutting all the elements I needed to assemble my house and set them aside.

I cut a piece of patterned paper to the size of my card and adhered with glue.

I then proceeded to assemble my scene. I actually started with a blue bird in the birdbath but then changed it out for a red bird in keeping with all the other red elements in my scene.

The sentiment was stamped with black ink and added to the card with some foam tape. Some of the elements of my card were directly adhered to my card but a lot of them were added with foam tape to give a little extra dimension.

Happy Earth Day 🌍 

Today I have a card to share that I created with a slimline stencil.

I was originally going to use my completed piece for a slimline card but decided after all the ink blending was done that I would cut the piece in half and adhere the panels together to add to a piece of black card stock.

I used 3 colours of Distress inks and the stencil.

I die cut the word friend from both white and black card stock and also from a piece of turquoise vellum. I glued the white die cut word to the black die cut word piece so that I could see a little bit of the black die cut word poking out.

The other sentiment is from a sentiment pack from Paper Rose which I added to a strip of black card stock.

I also added some crystal embellishments to he card in a turquoise colour.

 Hi everyone,

I just recently received a new stencil from Picket Fence and couldn’t wait to give it a try.

I applied my stencil to a piece of white card stock and began blending the colours from the centre outwards.

When I was happy with my blending on moved on to die cutting my word die from some gold card stock and heat embossing the other sentiment with gold embossing powder on to a strip of black card stock.

I added the panel to my card base and added the die cut word and sentiment strip. 

For a little added sparkle I used some Buttercream crystals from Pretty Pink Posh.

Easter Reveal Wheel cards

Hi everyone,

Happy Easter weekend. I have some cards to share today that I had created for Easter for family and friends. Enjoy!

I decided to create similar backgrounds for each one by using a bubbles stencil and distress inks.

Once the backgrounds were done I went on to stamping all my images and colouring with Copics.

I used the same background card stock to die cut the scalloped oval for the reveal wheel window so they would match.

I added different colours of grass to each of the cards and coordinated the arrow sign with glitter card stock to match the background.

They were fun to create but a bit time consuming but I am quite happy with my results.
