You’re just too sweet

 Hi everyone,

Today’s card is one that I am entering into the current Simon Says Stamp Flickr challenge where the theme is “To Die For”.

I had already die cut the red poinsettias and green leaves for another card that I never got around to making so I used them in this card.

I ran a white stitched panel through my die cutting machine with the Poinsettia die. I then blended some Distress ink over where the die cut pieces would be inlaid. I adhered this panel to a piece of black card stock and then added that to my white card base.

I then went on to adding all the pieces into my card. The sentiment is from Paper Rose which I added to my card with some foam tape.

To finish off the card I added small crystal gem accents here and there.

 Hi everyone,

Don’t know where you are but it’s awfully hot here in Montreal so I decided to hide away in my craft room for a while.

Today’s card i a  entering in the current Simon Says Stamp IG challenge where the theme is to use a stencil and the current Flickr challenge #181 where the theme is Friendship and Flowers.

I chose the Flora stencil from SSS and used it on purple card stock with Nuvo Glacier paste. I love all the glossy shine that it gives. As this stencil is quite delicate I used an adhesive spray to hold it in place so I could apply the paste.

I used both vellum and a piece of black card stock to die cut the Hugs word. The other is a preprinted sentiment from Paper Rose.

A little something

Happy Earth Day 🌍 

Today I have a card to share that I created with a slimline stencil.

I was originally going to use my completed piece for a slimline card but decided after all the ink blending was done that I would cut the piece in half and adhere the panels together to add to a piece of black card stock.

I used 3 colours of Distress inks and the stencil.

I die cut the word friend from both white and black card stock and also from a piece of turquoise vellum. I glued the white die cut word to the black die cut word piece so that I could see a little bit of the black die cut word poking out.

The other sentiment is from a sentiment pack from Paper Rose which I added to a strip of black card stock.

I also added some crystal embellishments to he card in a turquoise colour.

HAI crystal embellishments 

Hello my beloved friend

 Hi everyone,

Well Spring is right around the corner and so are the flowers. I thought this card would brighten any day.

I started by stamping my flower image and embossing it with clear embossing powder as I wanted to watercolour it. I used se real different colours of my Zig markers.

When I had finished colouring I fussy cut the image. I set that aside and went on to creating my background. I used a stencil with some Soft Sand ink colour from Hero arts to blend over my stencil. I concentrated in the middle with a heavier blending and lightened up towards the edges. I added Versamark watermark ink and heat set with some clear embossing powder.

I die cut my sentiment die from black card stock and foam mounted to my card. The other sentiment is from Paper Rose and preprinted on black paper so I just have to cut it out.

I adhered the flower image to my stencil base with foam and the whole panel was added to a colour panel and then onto my card.

A few sequins were added and that completes my card.

Hi everyone,

I have a fun card to share using a large background stamp, 2 Distress re-inkers (embarrassed to say the only 2 I own) ☺️ and Gansai Tambi gold paint.

I started by stamping my large floral background stamp with Versamark ink onto a piece of watercolour card stock that had been cut with a rectangle stitched die.

I then heat embossed it with textured white embossing powder from Lawn Fawn. 

I used drops of re-inkers in 2 different colours and then added some water. I moved the panel around so I could disperse the colours over the panel. I then added a bit of gold paint in different areas for a nice bit of shine here and there.

I was quite happy with the way the panel turned out as it looks nice and aged.

I die cut the large sentiment from some shiny gold card stock. The other sentiment was cut from the black & white sentiment sheets pack from Paper Rose.

I added the panel with foam tape to a stitched scalloped panel of turquoise card stock.

 Happy weekend everyone,

Well we are in the midst of a snowstorm here in Montreal which is actually quite pretty with all the trees heavily laden with crisp white snow. I’ll have to get out later to take a few photos.

My card today is cased from a few cards that Chari Moss recently created for Lawn Fawn. Also entering it in the current Simon Says Stamp Layer It Up challenge here

I started by adhering a bunch of coloured strips of card stock to a piece o white card stock covered in tape.

I ran the piece through my die cutting machine using a Simon Says Stamp heart die.

The die cut sentiment was die cut from Holographic card stock. The other sentiment is from a sentiment strip set of pre printed words from Paper Rose.

I used foam tape to pop everything up and added a tiny strip of the same holographic paper under the sentiment strip.

 Hi everyone,

Today's card was created with a stencil and 2 colours of Distress inks and some ink blending which is probably one of my favourite techniques. The colours are nice and happy which is perfect for this very snowy day!

I die cut a white panel with a stitched rectangle die and placed my stencil over top. I started at the bottom and blended the inks alternating between the 2 colours.

Once I was happy with the blended panel I set that aside and die cut the 'friend' die from some black cardstock. The other sentiment is from Paper Rose which is a package of pre-printed sentiment strips on both black and white cardstock. The package contains so many sentiments for every occasion which is great.

I adhered the panel to my card base and added the sentiment strip with some foam tape and adhered the die cut piece directly to the card.

I added Nuvo crystal drops in 2 colours on all the tiny dots.

Hello friend

 Hi everyone,

Today I have a card to share using a new to me stencil from Paper Rose which makes for a quick and easy card.

I started by taping my stencil to a piece of Neenah white card stock. I used a Taylored Expressions blending brush to apply Twisted Citron distress ink heavy at the top and then a lighter pressure towards the bottom of my panel. 

When I was finished my blending I applied some Gina K white glitz glitter gel to just a little section at the bottom centre of my panel.

I die cut the Simon Says Stamp hello die in both white and black card stock and adhered the two pieces together slight offsetting the black piece at the back to create a bit of a shadow effect.

The other sentiment was stamped with Versamark ink on to a piece of black card stock and embossed with white embossing powder.

I adhered the panel to my card with foam tape and that is it for my card today.
