Fall leaves

Hi everyone,

Today I have a card to share with a Fall theme that I will also be entering in Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Fall/Autumn Colors challenge which can be found here.

ll

I started by die cutting my card panel using a wonky stitched rectangle die.
I then taped down the stitched leaves and embossed them with my diecutting machine. I added some colour by using my Taylored Expressions brushes and Oxide inks to ink blend my background.

I splattered some water droplets over the panel, added some foam tape and adhered it to my card base.
I stamped the Simon Says sentiment onto a piece of black cardstock and heat embossed with white embossing powder.

Well that's it for my card and thanks so much for stopping by.

MFT Die-namics Wonky Stitched Rectangle die set
Simon Says Stamp sentiment - Work Out stamp set

Poinsettia Christmas

Hi everyone,

Today I have a card to share that I created using the new Sunny Studio Stamps Layered Poinsettia die set and new large sentiment.

I started by creating my background using a stencil from Altenew and 3 of their mini ink cubes.

I adhered the stencil to my cardstock panel and began applying the colours from the bottom first with my lightest ink and then the next darker ink, then the darkest and then repeating the inks again from dark to light to the top of my card. Used my new Taylored Expressions ink blending brushes. Love, love, love these.

Once I was happy with the stripes I applied a Simon Says Stamp stencil over top of the panel and added Glitter Snow embossing paste.

I stamped the large sentiment also new from Sunny Studio Stamps with Versamark ink and then heat embossed with white powder over top.

The poinsettia was created using 4 different shades of pinks and also a dark green. The leaves were stamped with Versamark and clear embossed. Stamped the berries and heat embossed them in white.

I added my panel to my top folding card base and then added the poinsettia with foam pieces.

Well that's it for my card and thanks so much for stopping by.

Snowflake holidays

Hi everyone,

Today I have a card to share that I created using a combination stamp and embossing folder set from Sizzix/Hero Arts.

I started by creating my background by using a smooshing technique by applying a few colours of Distress oxide inks on to my craft sheet and then dragging a piece of watercolour cardstock on top blending the colours until my whole panel was covered.

at was dry I used a stitched die to add some stitching detail to the top and bottom of the panel. I stamped the snowflake background with Versamark ink and heat embossed silver embossing over top. I used an embossing folder and lined it up with the snowflakes and ran it through my machine. I love the effect of the raised snowflakes.
I then added some splats of black paint to the panel.

I added some foam tape to my panel and also to the sentiment strip and added them to my card base.
The sentiment is from a Mama Elephant/Hampton Arts stamp set and die set.

I also added an irridescent star from Studio Katia to the left of the sentiment strip.

Well that's it for my card and thanks so much for stopping by.

Supplies:

Mama Elephant/Hampton Arts stamp set
Hero Arts/ Sizzix Snowflake Background set (stamp and embossing folder)
Lawn Fawn Stitched Borders die set
Distress Oxide inks - Peacock Feathers, Broken China, Cracked Pistachio, Salty Ocean
Silver embossing powder

Bee kind

Hi everyone,

Today I have a card to share that I created for the current Simon Says Stamp Flickr challenge #133 where the theme is to 'Emboss it like a Boss'.

I die cut a panel with a Simon Says Stamp stitched rectangle die and then placed a stencil over top and began blending 2 colours of Distress Oxide inks over it. With the stencil in place I spread a layer of translucent embossing paste over top. I set the whole thing aside and created my die sentiment.

I used a Simon Says Stamp die for the Be die and layered several layers together. I then went onto diecutting just the 'B' again with several layers of black cardstock.

I stamped the word kind onto a piece of black cardstock which was die cut with a Hero Arts die hexagon shape in keeping with my stencil honeycomb pattern.

The Bee was glued to my card base and the kind was foam mounted.

The whole panel was adhered to a blank card that was embossed along the edges using the same rectangle die that I used to cut out my stencil piece.

For a finishing touch I added some snow crystals from Studio Katia.

Well that's it for my card and thanks so much for stopping by.

Memory Box Texture Honey Comb stencil
Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangle die
Simon Says Stamp Be stamp set and die
Hero Arts Geometric Shapes die set
Distress Oxide inks - Squeezed Lemonade, Fossilized Amber
