Baby bear

Hi everyone,

One of my recent purchases was a stamp and die set from My Favorite Things called Birthday Bears.
I thought this set was perfect to create a baby card which I really don't do very often. I did make it into a shaker card which I do loving doing. I find they are such fun!

I created the background first using a circle die and some patterned paper. I then stamped the bear and balloons and coloured them using Copics.
Before assembling the card I decided to stamp the word 'Bebe' over the background piece of the shaker. Before I knew it I had glued all the pieces in place for my shaker but forgot to include the accents on the word bebe. Oh well! I'm sure they'll appreciate it anyways :)
I added some glossy accents to the green balloon and clear Wink of Stella to the 2 other balloons.

Halloween fox

hi everyone,

Happy beginning of the work week (for some of us) 😕
I have a quick post for I card that I created using some of the new Lawn Fawn stamps and dies - called Booyah!

I used an oval die to mask off an area to which I applied some purple ink. I stamped, coloured and die cut my little fox and all his trimmings - hat, bow tie and lollipop and added some orange glitter glue.
Stamped the sentiment from the same set in black ink and clear embossed.
Applied a strip of polka dot paper down the side and that's it.
Done!

Happy dots

Hi everyone,

Just popping in to share a card that I created for the current Wednesday Die Crazy challenge at SSS here featuring WPlus9 products.

First I stamped my sentiment with Versamark ink and embossed in white. I then applied my watercolour background using Peerless Watercolors. I used a stitched die to cut the panel to size and also a stitched die for the entire background panel. Die cut the happy sentiment first with polka dot paper (Doodlebug) and then white and finally black. Layered all 3 pieces together staggering them so that I could have a somewhat 3D effect.
Before adhering my watercolour and sentiment panel to the background piece I first added a few flicks of silver Distress paint.
Popped the whole piece up with a large piece of white fun foam and applied to my card base.
Well that's my card.

You color my world!

Hi everyone,

It seems I am kinda stuck in the Lawn Fawn stage at the moment. I just love their cute stamps and dies. This set is no exception.

I started by finding the centre of my card and figuring exactly where I would place each crayon. Once I had that figured out I stamped each crayon and coloured using Copics. It's not exactly perfectly lined up but not bad :) I think!
I don't have a box of crayons in front of me but I'm sure there is a white crayon in each box. There has to be so I decided to leave one white and then popped it up with a foam dots so it would stand out.
Thought it would be fitting to also stamp a large C on the label of each crayon so there it is.
Stamped the sentiment to which I added small white dots to the word color for a little extra interest.
The whole panel was popped up with a large piece of fun foam and mounted offset against a piece of gold corrugated paper and then onto a kraft cs base. Added a little heart accent to the centre.

Well that's it. Enjoy!

Geometric birthday!

Hi there,

Today I have a card that I created for the current Geometric challenge at Virginia's View Challenge here

I started by creating the background with a Memory Box die and white cardstock. Added the die cut piece to a black background and then set to colouring each of pieces with various Distress Inks.
Once I had applied all the ink colours I added them back to the background like a puzzle.
I die cut the sentiment several times and layered Gold metallic card stock to the top layer.
Added some sequins and layered the whole panel on to a card base.

christmas reindeer

Hi everyone,

Well I'm back as promised with another card using the new Lawn Fawn stamps and dies for the holidays. I am just loving these stamps, dies and papers. Soooo much fun!!!!!

I started out by colouring and die cutting all my images. (Don't tell anyone but the poor little reindeer had to sacrifice his antlers for a cute little hat).
Once I had all my elements together I assembled the card using red cardstock for the base and die cutting the background panel and the oval panel using stitched dies. I then applied a piece of vellum using the Lawn Fawn Forest Border die to the bottom of the oval. I decided it needed a little sparkle so I added some Art Glitter adhesive and sprinkled on some glitter. What happened when it dried is that is created a little ripple effect in the vellum making it look like snow.
I added some black Enamel accents to the reindeer's nose, eye and hoofs. The pom pom on his hat is some White Perfect Puff which when heated puffs up. No other way to say that!! I have had this bottle for ages but it certainly comes in handy.
Also added some clear Wink of Stella to his hat. Stamped the sentiment and that's my card.

Ellie

Hi everyone,

I have had a lot of time in my craft room lately (having a 4 day weekend) so I have found some extra time to create.
Here's a card for the current challenge at Avery Elle here

Challenge 28

My card:

I usually reach for a white card base but this challenge calls for a non-white card base so I used Kraft.
The stamp set I used is called Ellie which I used for the entire card. I didn't have the matching dies so I had to fussy cut everything. I used Copics to colour all the stamped images but the grass is cut from using a Lawn Fawn die and Doodlebug paper.

Well that's all for this card. So easy and quick.

Thanks for stopping by.

Supplies:

Avery Elle Ellie stamp set
MFT Die-namics Blueprints 13 die set
Lawn Fawn Grassy Border die
Copics
Gold glitter tape

Sweet summertime sunshine

Hi everyone,

I have a card to share that I am entering in 2 challenges: here and here.

The A2Z Scrapbooking challenge is to create a shaker card (I love making shakers - they're so much fun) and the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge is to make your card colourful showcasing Doodle products which I used in my card.

I started by die cutting the 2 frames from Doodlebug papers. In the same paper pack is the lovely bold expression rainbow panel so I die cut that piece and backed it with a white panel stamped with neon ink using a large HA background stamp.
Created my shaker and then applied all the frames to a yellow top folded glitter card.
To finish I added a glitter die cut sentiment and that's it.
Done!

Thanks for stopping by,

Halloween raccoon

Hi everyone,

Well as promised I am back to share another Halloween card using some of the new products from the latest Lawn Fawn release.

Here's my card:

I started by die cutting a large stitched circle and blending in 2 different colours of Distress inks. I had already previously coloured my little raccoon here and it was just a matter of adding some extras to him.
I gave him a pirate hat, eye patch and a little pumpkin to hold onto. I added some Stickles to his eye patch and Wink of Stella to the skull and cross bones on his hat. I die cut the little birdie and gave her a little witches' hat.
Then I randomly stamped the black background with the little spider and some Versamark ink and then added some black glitter embossing powder.
Die cut the striped panel using the same circle die and a grassy border die. Popped that up with some foam tape and tucked the raccoon in behind. Added the stamped sentiment and some more spiders on the orange panel and gave the spiders a finishing touch to their little bodies with some glossy accents.
Added some twine and that's it.
