The Count loves the beach - Everyday

Hi everyone,

I made this fun tag of the Count who loves going to the beach.

I started by stamping my background with Versamark embossing ink and then adding white embossing powder. After that was heat set I blended on my colours of Distress inks.

I die cut the count in different shades of beige card stock.

I added different patterned papers for his swim suit and cape/towel.

I die cut a ball from red and white card stock and added a fence on each side of the tag.

I die cut a banner and the words were die cut 3 times and glued together.

Below is a list of products used and for what part of the tag they were used on.

Rainbow Harveys

 Hi everyone,

Well these guys took me quite a lot of time to make but they are finally done.

I used the Tim Holtz/ Sizzix Harvey die to complete them in a rainbow of colours. There are a lot of pieces to these but they were a joy to make.

They are just so fun to make and so darn cute. I can see more in the future.
I do have a pink one in progress. I can also see some as tree ornaments or gifts tags.

Supplies:
Tim Holtz / Sizzix Harvey die set
Coloured card stock

Enjoy today

 Hi everyone,

Fall is right around the corner. The leaves are changing, the air is getting cooler and pumpkins are everywhere, including on my card.

I started by embossing my background with a Foliage embossing folder. I then sprayed it with Distress Mica stain sprays.

The pumpkins were die cut from several different colours of card stock and inked with Distress inks

I added faux grass to the bottom of my card and an Idea-ology sentiment inked with a Distress crayon. A little Statue foundry wax was added here and there to my card.

Well that’s it for my card today and thanks so much for stopping by 🙏🏻

Supplies:
Tim Holtz Pumpkin Duo Colorize die set
Tim Holtz Foliage 3-D Texture Fades embossing folder
Idea-ology sentiment
Distress Mica  spray stains - Wicked Elixir, Burning Ember, Tarnished Brass
Statue Foundry Wax

Type = sassy

 Hi everyone,

Well Gladys arrived yesterday and I couldn’t wait to play and create.

I started by creating my background piece with Distress reinkers and water using a smooshing technique. I then die cut the piece with a scalloped rectangle die.

For an added touch I stitched the edges with black thread first with a straight stitch and then with a zig zag stitch.
I purposely didn’t stitch a straight line as I didn’t want it to look perfect.

I assembled Gladys using various colours of pink card stock and added glossy accents to the beak and eyes.

I used a distressing tool to distress the edges of the dark green card stock piece.

The letters were done with an embossing folder and black card stock and inked with silver metallic rub on.

Well that’s it for my card and thanks so much for stopping by 🙏🏻

Supplies:

Tim Holtz / Sizzix Gladys Colorize
Tim Holtz / Sizzix 3D Texture Fades Typewriter
Lawn Fawn Stitched Scalloped Rectangle die
Distress reinkers - Tumbled Glass, Shabby Shutters
Metallic rub on

Shine brightly

 Hi everyone,

Today’s card uses an embossing folder for the background and a Tim Holtz die set for the image.

I started by embossing my background with white card stock and then dragging a light grey colour ink cube over the top so it would colour the high points of the embossing folder.

I die cut all the images need for my candle with different colours of card stock and pieced my candlestick together. Once the whole candle and stick were assembled I used my finger and silver metallic and rubbed over the candlestick.

In the photo below you can see where I added some glossy accents for wax drips and the candle wick.

The sentiment is a chip board quote piece to which I added a black marker to the edges.

Well that’s it for my card and thanks so much for stopping by 🙏🏻

Supplies:

Tim Holtz Candlestick, Colorize die set
Tim Holtz Engraved 3-D texture fades embossing folder
Tim Holtz / Idea-ology Chipboard Quote chip
