Big Love you

Hi everyone,

I know it’s been a while but I’ve been quite busy enjoying my beautiful granddaughter’s time with us before they head back home to Hawaii. We have had so much fun together since my daughter and her arrived in November. We got to celebrate Christmas, her 1st birthday and Valentines Day together. Now it’s back to everyday business and a very quiet house🙁

I did manage however to create a quick card using a Heidi Swapp mini stencil, a Simon Says Stamp die and some Distress Oxide inks.

I started by blending 3 different colours of ink over the stencil and trimming off the edges of the panel and adding a thin black line with a marker for some

detail. The sentiment was die cut from a piece of shiny black cardstock.

I adhered the panel to my card base and added some embossed lines with my Scor-Pal. Added some accent embellishments and that’s it for my card.

Thank so much for stopping by.

Supplies:

Heidi Swapp mini stencil set
Simon Says Stamp You die
Distress Oxide inks - Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron and Broken China

happy for your friendship

Hi everyone,

I have a card to share with you for the current SSSflickrchallenge  here where the theme is "To Emboss Like a Boss" and also for Day 17 of thedailymarker30day here by Kathy Racoosin.

I started by blending some scuba ink to the base of my card. Then I added a stencil and some translucent embossing paste over that to create my background. I then went on to create a watercolour pallette so I could die cut the word happy from it.

I used 2 stitched rectangle dies to emboss the edges of my card and then flicked on some drops of color shine.

Layered the panel with some foam tape onto a decorative card which I believe is from Concord & 9th. Added the die cut word and the sentiment which was stamped on black cardstock and heat embossed with white powder.

Well that's it for this card and thanks for stopping by.

Supplies:

SSS Stitched Rectangle die set
SSS Diagonal Stripe stencil
WPlus9 Happy Trio die set
Hero Arts Everyday Saying stamp set
Dreamweaver Translucent embossing paste

#Friends #Selfie shaker card

Hi everyone,

Well it's another hot, humid beautiful day here after quite a thunderstorm last night. The air conditioning is off, the windows are open and the wonderful summer breeze is blowing through the house quite freely. Love it!

Today's card I am sharing is for the Simon Says Stamp 'Splatter It' challenge here.

I used a couple of fairly new Lawn Fawn stamp and die sets and some distress ink to create my shaker card.

I created the frame using the SSS stitched rectangle die set to frame my selfie photo. Used some plaid paper to die cut the selfie frame.
The background piece was done blending some distress inks together.
Stamped the elephant and mouse and coloured with Copics.

Arranged the frame pieces, added some tiny glass beads and then added the frame with some foam tape to create the shaker. Before that I added some splatter with teal spray.

Thanks for stopping by.

You are the best!

Happy Monday everyone,

Today's card is for the current Wednesday challenge at Simon Says Stamp to use more than one die or punch and they are featuring Memory Box products.

I used the Chloe Stem die which is one of my favourites and die cut it twice in pink and green.
Used a stitched die for the background and added some paint spatters.

Die cut the you sentiment in black and stamped the rest of the sentiment.

Added foam tape to the entire background and mounted it over some pink polka dot patterned paper.

That's it,

Thanks for stopping by,
