Friendship

Hi everyone,

The new Love Notes stamp set from Tim Holtz and Stampers Anonymous isn’t just for Valentine’s Day.
Here I used it to create a card for a friend.

I smooshed the ink pads over my craft mat, spritzed with a little water and used a paint brush to pick up some colour to lightly swipe over a piece of white card stock to create my background panel.

Layered a white die cut panel over top, added my sentiment and a red embossed heart.

Well that’s it for my card and thanks so much for stopping by 🙏🏻❤️

Products used:
Leafy Twigs 665436
Love Notes CMS477
Distress inks - Picked Raspberry, Festive Berries and Picked Raspberry Oxide

Winter Wonderland

 Hi everyone,

Well it’s somewhat of a bleak and rainy day here. All the leaves are gone, skies are grey (sounds like a song 😂) and until there is a snowfall, rather blahhhh 😕

Well here’s a nice winter card for today.

I am using new stamp sets from Tim Holtz and Stampers Anonymous and the Stamptember 2022 set with the stencil.

I started with a piece of Kraft coloured card stock and created my masked moon background.

I blended both Uncharted Mariner inks on the top portion of my card and added some Distress Mica stain spray. The snowflakes were stamped over top.

The bottom portion of my card was painted with Picket Fence white paint and then the snow stencil (from Stamptember 2022 and Tim Holtz) over top with Snowfall grit paste.

The 3 trees were stamped with Pine Needles and Walnut Stain Distress inks and heat embossed.

My finished panel was added to a light blue panel added to my card base which I had inked the edges.

I added a stamped sentiment and flicks of white paint and that completes my card.

Thanks so much for stopping by🙏🏻

Collect beautiful moments

 Hi everyone,

Today’s card is for a bridal shower for my daughter in law to be. I thought the Doily embossing folder from Tim Holtz was perfect for the occasion.

The shower is actually a Boho picnic in the middle of lavender fields and the weather is supposed to be gorgeous.

The double arches and the stitched arch were all cut from a stitched die and patterned paper.
I blended a little Saltwater Taffy Oxide ink to the edges of the doily piece.

I stamped the heart which is actually from an Easter stamp set with Saltwater Taffy Oxide ink and added some Distress Foundry wax to the edges of the heart and also along the top edges of the card.

The sentiment was stamped with clear embossing ink and heat set with gold embossing powder.

Well that’s it for my card and thanks so much for stopping by 🙏🏻

A Million Thank Yous

 Hi everyone,

Today I have a card to share using a bunch of Tim Holtz / Sizzix products and an Alcohol Lift-ink technique.

First I blended a bunch of Alcohol inks onto a piece of card stock.  I applied my stamp to my Misti tool and used the Alcohol Lift-ink pad and stamped it a bunch of times onto a piece of white card stock until I was happily with it.

As the stamp doesn’t fit the entire background I taped the edges where the stamp finished and applied a stencil to the edge. I used Wilted Violet oxide ink which I blended with Distress Grit paste to cover the stencil doing one edge at a time. Before that was dry I sprinkled Clear Rock Candy glitter over top.

I die cut the sentiment 3 times with black card stock and glued them together. The stamped sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp and heat embossed with white embossing powder and foam mounted to my card.

I die cut a leaf from purple shiny card stock and glued directly onto my card.

Well that’s it for my card and thanks so much for stopping by 🙏🏻

Supplies:

Tim Holtz / Stamper’s Anonymous Flourish stencil
Tim Holtz Bold Text #1 die set
Tim Holtz Funky Floral #3 Thinlits die set
Tim Holtz / Stamper’s Anonymous Perspective stamp set

Wishing we lived closer

 Hi everyone,

Today I have a card to share which I created with my daughter in mind who lives in Hawaii. The sentiment is perfect because that is exactly how I feel. Especially that my 2 year old granddaughter is there too and I miss them both so much!

Entering this in the current Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge.

I started by laying my first stencil down and blending green ink over top. I laid down my second stencil and applied blue ink. I cleaned off both stencils and laid down the 2nd stencil over a sod applied glitter gel.

I put that aside to dry and die cut my word die twice with black card stock and inked up a white piece of card stock with Cracked Pistachio Oxide ink and die cut the word. I added some Versamark over the word and added some embossing powder. It gave it a nice glossy finish.

The sentiment was stamped onto black card stock and embossed with white embossing powder and foam mounted.

I die cut  scalloped frame to go over my card panel.

The whole panel was added to my card with some foam tape and that completes my card.

Thanks so much for stopping by 🙏🏻

Lots of Love

 Hi everyone,

I seem to have been taken over by the Valentines Day bug and have made quite a few cards.

Here’s one in the slimline format. I am entering this in the current Simon Says Stamp challenge to make a slimline card. Details on their blog here

I started by using the cloudy stencil to create my background. I then used 2 of the dies to cut out the stitched panel and the scalloped panel. I don’t have the Scalloped Slimline with Hearts Portrait die set so I carefully measured where I should die cut the 3 hearts and used the heart die from Lawn Fawn’s Magic Color Slider die set.

The 3 hearts were die cut from a piece of embossed patterned red card stock.

The 3 birdies and the hearts were coloured with Copics.

All the different panels were adhered to my card base and the sentiment pieces were added with some foam tape.

Well that’s it for my card and thanks so much for stopping by 🙏🏻
