Foil, paste and stencils

Hi everyone,

Well I haven't been here to post for a while as it seems that I have pulled some muscles in my upper back/shoulder area which is quite painful even to type or craft. This is not good for me as I have been sidelined from exercising which is something I do everyday. Zumba, Pilates, Yoga and Power Walking all on hold. UGH!!!!! Help is on the way though with some physio. Anti-inflammitories and Tylenol are helping out a bit but oh man oh man this is extremely painful. Wish I knew how I did this so I could avoid it in the future.

Anyways I have 2 cards to share that I had previously made before all of this happened using some Newton's Nook Designs products.

I used the Evergreens stencil which is awesome on both of my cards. The first card I started with an aqua panel die cut using a Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangle die and added my stencil and  applied some Distress grit-paste and before it dried I sprinkled on some glitter. It is super sparkly in real life. Too bad the photo doesn't quite capture all the glitter.

I added some irridescent bubble embellishments from Studio Katia to the first card and layered the panel onto a piece of patterned paper.

On the second card I used some foil for the trees and also used the Petite Snow stencil and some Whipped Spackle for the snow portion of the card above the trees. the panel was die cut first using an MFT Die-namics using a Stitched Rectangle die. I used a mini circle shaker die from MFT die-namics for my sentiment. I adhered a piece of patterned paper to my card base and then added the panel and the sentiment circle.

Well that's it for both of these cards and thanks so much for stopping by.
