to a deer friend

hi everyone,

Well I have not posted in a while due to my Fall getaway mini vacation and that I have been busy making Halloween treat bags, (16 so far) since I got back, which I will be posting later next week.
For today I have a card that I made using some new Lawn Fawn products.

Here's my card:

I started by stamping my image first, masking it and then applying the ink background and then adding my snowfall stencil and applying some Whipped Spackle over top. Coloured my reindeer using Copics.
Added some die cut hills using various patterned papers, a hat with liquid appliqué for the pompon and a darling little gift to the reindeer and a little red pearl for his nose.
Stamped a white embossed sentiment and added some clear sequins.

Well that's it.

for you

hi everyone,

Just popping in to share another card created for the current sentiment challenge at http://lawnscaping.blogspot.ca/2015/10/lawnscaping-challenge-sentiments.html

I used the Scripty For You die which I applied the colours to by laying done the inks on my craft sheet, applying water and then pressing my die cut piece onto the inks. The background was created with various patterned papers die cut with a rectangle stitched die using different sizes of the die.
The leaf was die cut and watercoloured with different distress inks using the same technique as the sentiment.
All was mounted on a Kraft cardstock base and Wink of Stella applied to the leaf and sentiment.

Lawn Fawn cards

Hi everyone,

Happy Thanksgiving to all my fellow Canadians and Happy Columbus day weekend to all my American friends. Not too much turkey now.

I have 2 cards today to share for the current sentiment challenge at http://lawnscaping.blogspot.ca/2015/10/lawnscaping-challenge-sentiments.html

The first one was created using the Party Animal stamp and die set. I took various neon inks to stamp the background using the little accent stamps from the set. The fox, balloon and cake were all coloured with Copics and the sentiment is from the same set. I used the bubble from the A Birdie Told Me stamp and die set. The stitched background was cut using a SSS die.

I created the background of my card below the same as the one above but using the accent stamps from the Booyah stamp set. Again I used the SSS die for the stitched background. The sentiment is from an old Impression Obsession stamp set, embossed with white embossing powder and fussy cut. I added some washi tape to the black main panel before adding my stamped panel.

Penguins

Hi everyone,

Here's a card that I created using some of the new Lawn Fawn Holiday stamps and dies.

I created the back panel by slightly blending some SSS Mint ink to soften up the starkness of the white cardstock.
The trees were stamped using a Hero Arts ombre ink pad, the penguins were coloured using various markers and all were cut out using their coordinating dies.
I stamped the snowball pile, individual snowballs and sentiment using HA soft granite ink. Added some white glitter to the snowhills and clear Wink of Stella to the snowballs.
Layered the whole panel with a sheet of foam to a piece of patterned paper, and that's it.

Thanks for stopping by.

Thanks a bunch

Happy World Card Making Day everyone,

Well I've had quite a busy work week but managed to find a little time to squeak out a card for the current SSS Wednesday challenge 'Anything Goes' showcasing Clearly Besotted products here.

Simon Wednesday Challenge Blog

I must admit I have had this CB Miniature Floral stamp set for a little while now and never used it but thought it would be perfect for my card.

I first stamped my flower image on watercolour cardstock and started applying my colours. I didn't have the matching die so fussy cut it out. I die cut my 2 different sized frames using a stitched rectangle die and then ran them through my Cuttlebug using an embossing folder.
Stamped my sentiment on my background base of green cardstock, added some tiny silver beads and assembled my shaker.
I added the flower popped up with some foam tape.
Well that's it.
